Madeleine Carrington, also known as ‘holy grail girl,’ is an artist and creator based in both North Carolina, and Ireland. Working mainly with oil on canvas or reclaimed wood, Carrington incorporates older painting techniques with her own style. Her subjects and style focus mainly on human anatomy, nature, violence, technology, and religious symbolism; exploring exploitation under techno-feudalism and comparing it to previous forms of tyranny and oppression.
